What does it mean to you? For me, it's about finding the right balance between work and life, a journey I'm continuously navigating. As a reflexologist, I'm passionate about my work, but I also cherish moments at home and in nature. Achieving harmony between these aspects is an ongoing endeavor.
Reflecting on my journey, I recall the excitement of starting my first business 13 years ago. While being my own boss brought freedom, I soon realised there was still an internal "boss" urging me to do more, comparing myself to others. Over time, especially since embracing reflexology, I've learned to quiet that critical voice and trust my intuition—the true guiding force within.
Through practices like meditation and reading, I've honed my ability to listen to my inner voice and found remarkable results. While balancing work demands and personal desires remains a challenge, I'm finding greater ease. I've discovered that investing time in self-care, such as reading and nature walks, not only makes me happier but also enhances my effectiveness as a therapist, enabling me to serve my clients wholeheartedly.
